33 Hours Later We're Finally Home! July 12th

31 Hours after we left our Hotel, we finally walked in the door! We made it to LAX but their 3rd World Style Operational System made us miss our connecting flight to Salt Lake City. We had to stay overnight in LA and then took the first flight out Saturday morning. Seth did AWESOME (thank you to the makers of Benadryl) though he slept spread out between Derek and I and we were up the whole trip making sure he didn't roll off the seat. We arrived to the sweet happy faces of our kids waiting at the airport. It feels like we left a year ago, not 20 days ago. Our kids were happy to see us, but had so much fun with Jody & Justin, Melissa, Julie & Grandma & Grandpa. The kids were so excited to see Seth, and he seemed to like them too. We were so excited to eat fresh salad, corn on the cob, and homemade burgers. Seth wasn't too keen on his first American meal, but we made him rice which he of course, loved. And so this phase of our journey is complete, and we begin the next phase. Thanks for all of those who have followed and supported us, and mostly joyed in our Seth. We feel blessed to be his parents. As I sat at dinner tonight and looked at all my children sitting there, especially Seth, I felt overcome with joy. I reflected on the times I sat at the table feeling the emptiness of him not being there. But now he's finally home where he belongs. "Family This Is Where I Belong"
