We called home while waiting for our flight from Guanzhou to Hefei. We hadn't even finished our flight time when the kids reported Gregory had five stitches in his chin. Gregory could you have given Jody & Justin at least a day before they had to experience the trauma of parenthood. We've been amazed that at the Kama Kazi way Gregory goes through life he hasn't had stitches up to this point, but could you have at least waited 'till we'd been gone a couple of days Gregory?
He was over playing with his best buddy Ashton and they were riding Ashton's little four-wheelers. He was taking the jump faster than he should (does that surprise us?) when his chin hit the handle bars. He bit his tongue and split his chin open. Melissa(Ashton's Mom who is also a nurse) went and grabbed the insurance forms and took him down to the Insta-Care. The same doctor who had stitched Derek's finger on Saturday night be happened to be the one who stitched Gregory. Let's hope he doesn't have to stitch up any more Dobsons this week.
Gregory was fine through the stitches but traumatized that it hurt to eat dinner because of his tongue. If you know Gregory he is passionate about his food. Jody was great and made him a shake which made it all better.
Sorry Justin & Jody. Hope you still want kids when this is all over. Bet you can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
